Joey Korein is a Brooklyn based artist with a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis. She has worked in a wide variety of mediums but her great love is fiber and textiles. As of January 2013 she is living in Ollantaytambo, Peru, working with women's textile cooperatives through an organization called Awamaki.
